What is VEE?
Validation by Educational Experience (VEE) allows students to get credit for topics that are not tested on the actuarial exams. These topics are validated through the VEE process. There are three main topics for VEE, they are: Economics, Corporate Finance, and applied statistical Methods.
These topics are not prerequisites for the preliminary exams and may be fulfilled independently of the exam process. The minimum grade to receive credit for VEE course is a "B-". However, you must pass two SOA or CAS actuarial exams before applying to have VEE credit added to your record.
