- It’s important to actively seek out companies you’d like to work for (in cities you’d like to work in) through company websites, career fairs and information sessions
- Be sure to follow your desired company on social media and LinkedIn to stay up to date with the company and be sure to make all your personal accounts private, so that they are not fully visible to potential employers/peers.
- Set up a profile on companies’ application websites in case jobs or an internship become available
- Create and maintain a professional LinkedIn profile
- Develop your computer skills and highlight these skills on your resume
- Round out the work experience on your resume with campus activities and volunteer work
